Trung Le Nguyen is a Vietnamese-American cartoonist and graphic novelist born in 1990. His work has gained recognition for blending traditional inking techniques with influences from Vietnamese imagery, shōjo manga, and classic children's literature.
Born in a Philippine refugee camp, Nguyen moved to the United States in 1992 and later graduated from Hamline University with a degree in studio art. Though he began drawing comics in middle school, he initially pursued arts administration before deciding to focus on a career in comics.
