📖 Overview
Michael J. Durant is a former U.S. Army aviator and author best known for his role in the Battle of Mogadishu in 1993, an event later depicted in the book and film "Black Hawk Down." Durant retired from the Army as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 after accumulating more than 3,700 flight hours over his career. He later founded Pinnacle Solutions, an engineering and services company specializing in aviation training and simulation.
