Francesca Cavallo is an Italian author and entrepreneur best known for co-creating "Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls," a bestselling children's book series that features stories of remarkable women throughout history.
Together with Elena Favilli, Cavallo launched one of the most successful publishing crowdfunding campaigns in history, raising over $1 million to publish the first volume of Rebel Girls in 2016. The series has since been translated into more than 50 languages and sold millions of copies worldwide.
Prior to her publishing success, Cavallo founded the theater company Sferracavalli in Italy and served as its Artistic Director. She later moved to California and co-founded Timbuktu Labs, a children's media company, with Favilli.
