Brian Michael Bendis is an American comic book writer and artist who has written extensively for both Marvel Comics and DC Comics. He is considered one of the most influential creators in modern superhero comics, known for his distinctive dialogue style and long-running storylines.
During his time at Marvel Comics from 2000-2017, Bendis shaped major storylines including "House of M" and "Secret Invasion." He had notable runs writing Daredevil, The Avengers, and Ultimate Spider-Man, where he created the character Miles Morales.
In 2017, Bendis moved to DC Comics where he began writing Superman and Action Comics. He also launched the Wonder Comics imprint and co-created the young adult superhero series Naomi with David F. Walker.
