📖 Overview
Terminal Alliance follows Marion "Mops" Adamopoulos, a human janitor aboard the interstellar spaceship EMCS Pufferfish. In a universe where most of humanity has transformed into savage creatures after a zombie apocalypse, Mops leads a small group of "restored" humans who serve alongside alien races in the Interstellar Commons.
When a mysterious bioweapon attack incapacitates the Pufferfish's crew, Mops and her sanitation team become the only functioning personnel aboard. The maintenance crew must step far outside their usual duties to investigate the attack, navigate interstellar politics, and keep their ship operational.
The story combines military science fiction with elements of comedy, leveraging the contrast between the sanitation workers' practical knowledge and the complex diplomatic situations they encounter. The novel explores themes of humanity's place in a wider galactic community and questions traditional hero narratives by centering maintenance staff rather than military personnel.
Terminal Alliance examines how ordinary people adapt to extraordinary circumstances, while challenging assumptions about status, capability, and what makes someone qualified to be a hero.
