The Fallen

📖 Overview

Aaron Corbet is an adopted teenager who discovers on his 18th birthday that he is a Nephilim - half angel and half human. His normal life of high school, work at an animal hospital, and caring for his autistic foster brother transforms as he develops supernatural abilities and learns about his true identity. Angels begin hunting Aaron, forcing him to go on the run to protect himself and those he loves. He must quickly learn to harness his new powers while evading powerful enemies who view his very existence as an abomination that must be destroyed. Forces of good and evil clash as Aaron finds himself at the center of an ancient conflict between Heaven and Earth. His journey leads him to question everything he knew about faith, destiny and the nature of angels themselves. The narrative explores themes of identity, belonging and the sometimes blurry line between divine justice and mercy. Through Aaron's story, the book examines what it means to be caught between two worlds while remaining true to oneself.
