📖 Overview
A 13-year-old boy named Dylan and his father become entangled in a search for Sasquatch near Mount St. Helens, just as the volcano shows signs of eruption. While Dylan's mother is away in Egypt on an archaeology expedition, his father's obsession with cryptozoology leads them to attend a Bigfoot convention.
At the convention, they encounter two opposing forces: Dr. Theodore Flagg, who wants to capture or kill a Sasquatch for proof, and a mysterious man named Buck Johnson, who appears to have hidden knowledge about the creatures. The situation grows tense as Dr. Flagg organizes an expedition to Mount St. Helens, and Dylan's father becomes involved.
This adventure story combines elements of wilderness survival, family relationships, and the age-old question of whether some mysteries are better left unsolved. Through Dylan's experiences, the book explores themes of trust, protection of nature, and the complex motivations that drive people to pursue the unknown.
