📖 Overview
Planetfall follows Renata Ghali, a 3D printer engineer in a human colony on a distant planet. The colony exists in the shadow of a massive bio-mechanical structure known as God's City, which drew the colonists across space following the visions of their leader, Lee Suh-Mi.
Twenty years after establishing the settlement, the arrival of a mysterious stranger forces Ren and the other colonists to confront the truth about their mission and the events that brought them to this world. The colony's careful balance begins to shift as long-buried secrets rise to the surface.
Newman combines elements of psychological suspense with hard science fiction, exploring themes of faith, truth, and the cost of maintaining societal harmony. The novel examines how personal and collective myths shape human communities, and what happens when those foundations begin to crack.
