📖 Overview
In a post-apocalyptic Texas, humans who die can mysteriously return to life as Reboots - stronger, faster, and less emotional versions of themselves. Seventeen-year-old Wren 178 died and remained dead for 178 minutes before rebooting, making her one of the deadliest and most efficient soldiers in the Human Advancement and Repopulation Corporation (HARC).
As a trainer for new Reboots, Wren meets Callum 22, a recruit who challenges her understanding of what Reboots can be. His shorter death time means he retains more of his humanity, leading Wren to question everything she knows about her role and existence.
The story follows Wren's mission to break free from HARC's control while protecting those she cares about. Her growing relationship with Callum forces her to confront whether she truly is as emotionless as she believes.
This dystopian novel explores themes of humanity, free will, and the true nature of emotion through the lens of a society that treats its resurrected citizens as weapons rather than people.
