The Search for Snout

📖 Overview

Rod Albright faces a new challenge when he must join the crew of the Galactic Patrol ship Ferkel to search for his father. After explaining the situation to his Earth-bound mother, Rod and the crew learn that their nemesis BKR has escaped custody and stolen a patrol vessel. The mission becomes more complex when Rod receives a message from his friend Snout, prompting the crew to diverge from their original orders. They set course for the Mentat, a living structure where Snout studied the Mental Arts, hoping to uncover information about their missing companion. The search leads the crew through encounters with dangerous adversaries, including the powerful Smorkus Flinders from Dimension X, while Rod's cousin Elspeth becomes unexpectedly involved in their mission. Meanwhile, Rod must cope with additional challenges involving his chibling companion. This science fiction adventure explores themes of loyalty, family bonds, and the complexities of trust across different species and cultures. The story continues the series' examination of what it means to bridge multiple worlds while maintaining connections to both.
