📖 Overview
Fletcher, a blacksmith's apprentice, discovers he can summon demons after acquiring an ancient scroll. When his newly discovered powers lead to trouble in his village, he flees to Vocans Academy where noble children train to become demon summoners and battlemages.
At the academy, Fletcher faces discrimination due to his commoner status while learning to harness his summoning abilities. He forms alliances with fellow students including a dwarf and an elf, breaking social barriers as they train together with their demon companions.
The students prepare for warfare against the orcs while navigating complex political tensions between nobles, commoners, and different races. As Fletcher develops his skills, he uncovers secrets about his own past and the true nature of the conflict.
This fantasy coming-of-age story explores themes of class division, prejudice, and the bonds that form between outcasts who find strength in unity. Through Fletcher's journey, the narrative challenges assumptions about birthright and questions what truly determines a person's worth in society.
