📖 Overview
Sebastian exists in Ephemera, a realm of shifting landscapes connected by bridges and human emotion. In this world, powerful Landscapers maintain balance and connection between different realms, while dark forces threaten to consume everything.
Sebastian, an incubus born to a succubus and a wizard, finds refuge in the Den of Iniquity - a landscape created specifically for demons by his cousin Glorianna Belladonna. The Den serves as a haven for outcasts, filled with gambling, revelry, and carnal pleasures.
The arrival of a woman named Lynnea disrupts Sebastian's existence in the Den of Iniquity, just as a dangerous entity known as the Eater of the World poses an increasing threat to Ephemera. The paths of Sebastian, Lynnea, and Glorianna intersect as they face mounting dangers.
The novel explores themes of belonging, redemption, and the nature of good and evil through its unique world-building and magic system. It questions whether beings traditionally seen as dark or demonic can transcend their nature and find genuine connection.
