Lene Kaaberbøl is a Danish author best known for writing fantasy and crime fiction for both young adults and adult readers. Her work has been translated into more than 25 languages.
Kaaberbøl gained international recognition for co-authoring the Nina Borg crime series with Agnete Friis, beginning with The Boy in the Suitcase in 2011. The series follows Danish Red Cross nurse Nina Borg as she becomes entangled in criminal investigations and social issues.
